Original-Ton
I am glad you found my small world of homebuilt audio projects. My history in DIY audio equipment is going back to the mid 80's of the last millenium when I built my first loudspeakers, a pair of Kef Reference 104ab. Hooked by the first success many more loudspeaker projects followed ranging from compact two way monitors over open baffles to active subwoofers. Around 2004 I gradually switched to listening to headphones only.
Accordingly you will find mostly headphone amplifiers of various topologies on this site and a few other pieces of audio gear that I built, converting from a CDP to digital audio. Browse the following pages for an overview of the projects with a short description, schematics and some images! Keep in mind that I am not a person trained in electronics but a visual guy by profession. My goal in creating audio gear is not only equipment that is sounding good (to my ears) but also offering an esthetic value.
